Arctic signs sponsorship agreement with Celine Borge
Arctic proudly presents professional LPGA golfer Celine Borge as our brand-new ambassador.
Arctic recently signed a sponsorship deal with Norwegian golfer Celine Borge. Following in Suzann "Tutta" Pettersen’s mighty footsteps, Celine is the 2nd Norwegian LPGA player ever. We support Celine in her quest to become a consistent top player and winner of major tournaments.
CEO Mads Syversen comments: "Celine will be a wonderful ambassador for Arctic. She is hard-working, determined, and ambitious, values that Arctic highly appreciate and share. Celine is young and already a world-class player in a major sport worldwide. We look forward to following Celine closely and help her develop an already successful career even further".

"My main ambitions are to continuously develop as a top player and ultimately win major tournaments. Short-term, my goal for 2024 is to win an LPGA tournament. I had many good experiences during my rookie year, but I am never quite satisfied. I always seek to improve my game. I feel like I have handled the LPGA level well, and I simply try to continuously improve", she says.
Golf requires patience (and a lot of it, too)
Celine is used to handling most things herself: Renting a car, driving around between tournaments, staying with different families. She does not even have her own caddy (yet):
"I team up with local caddies for each tournament, and their only job is to carry my bag. However, looking ahead, I would very much like my own caddie", Celine says.
As is often the case in golf, small margins can make a big difference: "We play a new course every week. Some are comfortable, some are not, depending on the course. The putting also varies a lot. Golf is a weird and demanding game that requires a lot of patience and hard work to become a consistently good player".
Inspired by top athletes
"We run a performance-oriented business and we have always been inspired and motivated by athletes", Petter Bakken (Founding Partner, Arctic) told ArcticPodden.

Celine Borge is a Norwegian professional golfer born August 5, 1998. She represents Vestfold Golfklubb. At 16 years old, Borge became Norwegian junior champion. Four years later, she secured the title as Norwegian champion in the senior competition. During her amateur career, Borge won two Norwegian cup finals (in 2014 and 2015), the 2016 Irish Girls U18 Open Stroke Play Championship and several Titleist Tour wins.
As a professional, Celine played at the Ladies European Tour from 2018, and then the Epson Tour where she won the Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic in 2022. Borge’s rookie LPGA season in 2023 was considered a breakthrough in her professional career. Among many highlights and impressive results, she achieved two consecutive third place finishes at Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational and The Amundi Evian Championship – both tournaments played in July 2023.
